I was donated a second portable MIG welder, but it is in quite a bad shape, missing lots of parts.
I already had a welder on loan of the exact same type, so its easy to figure out what should go where.
One of the first things I did was CAD up a replacement part and 3d-print it. The welder is [was] missing the piece that holds the end of the torch bundle and clamps down on the torch liner to the wire feed mechanism.
After fitting the clamp, all that was left to do was attach the electrical connections and route the hose for the shielding gas to the back of the machine. The only job still left to do is to give the metal parts a fresh coat of paint.
